Antonovich and LA County BoS-es Ban Successful Industry for ‘Fear of Robbery’ and to Keep Crime Down.
The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has moved toward enacting a complete ban on flourishing businesses that may be targets of robbery in a Depressionary economy in the unincorporated areas of the county.
Loss of industry will remove new tax dollars, jobs, local economy growth, industry development and lawful regulation of an industry currently run by criminals.
In a unanimous vote, the supervisors directed county staff to prepare an ordinance banning pot dispensaries. The ordinance would first need to be considered by the Regional Planning Commission and then by the Board of Supervisors, a process that would probably take at least three or four months.
Mike Antonovich is the author of a motion to Criminalize Medical exo–cannabinoid Clinics. This would criminalize the regulated commerce of prescribed and controlled distribution as well as agricultural processing and development.
As the County board of supervisors he is the acting city council for the unincorporated communities of Los Angeles County in this Decision. Spearheading the decision of Prohibition for all of the people in the unincorporated areas that exo–cannabinoids and the Hemp industry in general is not welcome in the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County’s Economy.
“It leaves the unincorporated portion vulnerable,” said Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich, author of the motion. The board, he said, needs to protect residents’ “safety and property values.”
Antonovich believes this Industry is Dangerous on its face and the Unincorporated communities and population of LA County are in danger from it.
Attorney Tulane M. Peterson, added: “This is a public safety issue. It is not a debate over the medical properties of a drug.” An official with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office said pot-dispensing locations tend to draw crime and violence.
“(Dispensaries) are turning a lot of money and have attracted the attention of armed robbers,” Assistant District Attorney Jacquelyn Lacey said.
“Where there are armed robbers, there will be a loss of life. (The ordinance is) not a judgment on medical marijuana use, but saves the county residents from any crime that a dispensary would bring.”
Daryl Dittebrand, who lives in an unincorporated neighborhood near Arcadia, expressed opposition to a proposed medical marijuana dispensary 60 feet away from his home.”
I am fearful of what it’s going to do to my neighborhood. I’m afraid of the crime, and I’m afraid of the potential for armed robbery,” Dittebrand said.
The Increased Danger is robbery. A business that is highly successful in a down economy, that has cash, that has a product that can be sold easily. But Robbery is the danger. Does that mean that banks should not be allowed in Compton, South Central or we shouldn’t allow business because they could be Targets of Crime?
The “Increased Crime” is nearly all illegal possession and distribution of exo–cannabinoids. The Prohibition is the cause of “Criminal” increase. If we decriminalized possession of small amounts of exo–cannabinoids, while maintaining public safety with current DUI, Open Container (put it in the trunk) and Public Intoxication regulations, we would remove much of the Policing work and allow them to focus on the Armed Robbers.
The Job of Protecting the Private Property of the Community, Protecting the Safety of the Individual is not supposed to be achieved by limiting the actions of Society because of the actions of the criminals. It is to stop the Criminals.
While approving the motion, Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky expressed strong objections to rewriting a law he said worked.”
It takes anywhere from six months to a year to close one down that is started illegally,” Molina said, asking staff to come back with suggestions on speeding up enforcement.”
It’s the illegal ones that are driving everybody crazy,” Yaroslavsky said. “I’m just trying to understand if this is a motion in search of a problem,”
Barry Kramer, a medical cannabis patient who lives in L.A., urged supervisors to focus on targeting illegal clubs, rather than ones that want to operate legally.”
It’s not the ordinance that’s bad,” Kramer said. “They definitely don’t need to ban access to legitimate patients.”
An initiative passed in 1996 and a state law adopted in 2003 allows patients and caregivers to form collectives to cultivate marijuana, but cities and counties have considerable power to regulate where dispensaries can operate. Some dispensaries have filed court challenges to those regulations.
This is an affront to Individual Personal Private Choices and Decisions protected under the constitution and Endowed to every Natural Person. Belligerent Infringement and out right prohibition creates a criminal black-market and empower lawless cartels with monopoly power.
The protection of the public is in danger from not addressing violent robbery and criminalizing those under threat.
Vote out the Incumbents!
Vote in Local Protection, Vote for Public Servants that will stand with Interposition of Constitutional Violations. They must use the Authority that we give them to protect our life, liberty and property; under Justice, Honesty and Equity from all threats internal and external, foreign and domestic, state and federal.
Prohibition created and empowered the Mob. Prohibition only empowers the criminals and makes criminals of anyone who works with or for them (customers, distributors, drivers, farmers, contractors, etc)
Our economy is collapsing we can’t afford another person in the court system and Internment Prisons so instead; regulate, tax, research, develop, test and decriminalize Mexico’s Largest Cash Crop as Well as California’s.

Schwarzenegger vetoes Hemp Farming Act, denies California farmers economic opportunity to grow high-demand industrial crop
AB1147 — co-authored by Assemblymen Mark Leno, D-San Francisco, and Chuck Devore, R-Irvine — sought to allow California to join the 30 other countries that allow hemp farming. Currently California state law does not differentiate between hemp crops and marijuana crops, so farmers have been hesitant to grow industrial hemp for fear of having their crops confiscated.
Schwarzenegger said in his veto message that although he wants to encourage new state agricultural production, there is no federal law distinguishing between hemp and marijuana.
“Unfortunately, I am very concerned that this bill would give legitimate growers a false sense of security and a belief that production of ‘industrial hemp’ is somehow a legal activity under federal law,” Schwarzenegger said.
AB1147 would have required farmers to submit to crop testing to guarantee that their variety of the cannabis plant was not a hallucinogenic form in return for not having their crops confiscated.
The governor’s veto was a case of politics sadly trumping science, sound public policy and an affront to Natural, Constitutional Law

Border Violence, Border Security, Illegal Immigration, Amnesty, etc Can’t be discussed as Solvable Problems. They can only be treated as symptoms. What is the Cause?
Mexico’s Collapsed Police State and Clan Warfare Hit American City Halls, On June 29 as many as seven stray bullets came over the Mexican/United States Border hitting the El Paso City Hall, no one was injured on the US side. A battle between suspected drug traffickers and Mexican federal police left one officer dead in Cuidad Juarez, the City on El Paso’s Southern International Border.

Ex Police and Ex Special Military Forces Units have become Local Militia and Drug Cartel soldiers protecting the cartels farming operations, communities and the commodity exchange markets (drug corridors/smuggling systems).
As the Fence has gone in along key, out of the way and long established land based drug smuggling corridors into the US, the violence, corruption and danger has only increased. This has escalated total collapse in Mexican Governmental Justice and Order in much of the Nation.
One of these largest border closings, the restricted Goldwater Bombing Range, near Yuma, it had 1000’s of tracks that ran from the Mexican Highway up to interstate 8 and was closed to vehicle traffic in 2006. Also between Yuma and Calexico and around Douglas. This caused the Siraloa Cartel to go to war with Gulf Cartels and other Cartels for Access to corridors and this fighting has increased dramatically since.
The Smugglers have had to use more populated areas, illegal immigrant crossing areas, or work through NAFTA or government officials with bribery in commercial shipping markets. This has only increased the danger to civilian and refugees seeking asylum, as well as massive increase in crime and corruption.
Especially in Nuevo Laredo, that is located across from Laredo, Texas. It is the border city through which 75 percent of Mexican exports to the United States are shipped. It is currently being fought over by the Gulf cartel and its former allies, Los Zetas, a band of Ex-Mexican Special Forces Military deserters that control that region.
The smugglers have had less and less access to drug trade corridors are becoming more desperate. With more smuggling operations intercepted and less and less access to trade routes the criminalized cartels are forced to take more risks, expand into new criminal activity and find new means of getting money.
For Example; A ($7,000,000 street valued) lost shipment of marijuana means that the smugglers now owes the narcotics plantation owners down in Guanajuato $500,000 and the smuggler has to pay or his family will be harmed and/or killed.
So now, without drugs and no recourse of law he moves into other crimes, he smuggles people, selling them in the process into indentured servitude once they reach the US, human trafficking, or kidnapping, robbery, murder, etc.
This so his family will not be raped to death, so that the farmer can get paid and pay the authorities, his workers and his guards, so that he is not murdered, so that the border is secure, so that the public is safe, so that globalization can proceed, so that the United States internment industry can grow, and all of this just so that some people don’t get high, because that will ruin our society?
This is selective regulation of an Individual’s Natural Constitutional and Freedom. We are Free and Independent, responsible for our own actions and dependant on our own ability; that is our Doom.
And any attempt to regulate personal voluntary behavior, in an attempt to make society better is an affront to the Grace and Tremendous Capacity that each Infinite Indivisible Individual Is Born to be able to be. It is an Affront to our very Nature to our Free Doom.
It is a futile attempt at a KingDoom. It is an antithesis to a re-Public.
By ending the WAR-ON-DRUGS (ending a war on an industry) and removing the criminal aspects of the majority of the Mexican agricultural industry and her main economic industry (Larger than Mexico’s Tourism Industry; not to mention California’s largest cash crop) then and Only then can Justice, Law and Natural Order of Individual Human Value and Sovereignty have a change to be restored.
We could have a sister nation to the south. One that is not in dire need for political and economic refugees, that our government calls ‘illegal aliens’. If Canada had become a warzone and ex military had claimed the government was corrupt and in bed with the USA and Canadians were fleeing the oppression from the Canadian Government, the Cartels and Environment, what would we do?
Just as we have a safe open border brother to the north, let us restore that with our sister to the south and help them restore their national self reliance and sovereignty.
We hold that Power. In our Votes, in our voices. WE HOLD THAT POWER.
Poof you’re not a criminal you’re a farmer. Poof your not a smuggler you’re a teamster. Proof you’re not a dealer you’re a dispensary co-op owner. Poof your not a drug lord you’re a commodities broker, you’re the the Coors, the Miller, the Budweiser of Bud.
Let Canada (with its legal hemp industry) and Mexico (with its illegal hemp industry) compete on who can produce the best hemp cloth, oil, omega-protein-canabinoid-fatty acid extracts, biodegradable plastic, feeds, fibers and marijuana as a legally recognized commodity.
I am not advocating drug use only the decriminalization arbitrarily (or intentionally) of selected substances and individual behavior, choices, actions and life. (that as long as they do not infringe by force, fraud or cohesion any other individual life nor damage the public domain then they are protected as un-enumerated rights, liberty and freedoom)
Prohibiting Individuals personal Freedom to improve society never works and is against all that OF For and By the people stands for and what many have died for.
Alcohol has been around for a very long time and the idea of prohibiting it from being produced is absurd. It will never work and only empower evil men with monopoly and force criminality on the individual. We can clearly see that with hind sight. Prohibition does not work, yet I do not promote the drinking of Alcohol.
Alcohol can be very destructive and dangerous to the individual and we understand and support those that abuse it or become addicted. We must understand a key difference; that abuse (public intoxication or DUI) endangers others lives and is there fore prohibitable while alcoholism or addiction, without endangering others, that only endangers the individual, a personal Freedom. It is something for which to offer help, empathy, support and assistance for overcoming but must be protected. If not Evil men are empowered.
There is a law that prevents someone from endangering the life of another but there is no need for a WAR-ON-DRUGS.
Hemp has been farmed by man since long before he fermented his first wine.
What on Earth makes us think that drug prohibition is ANY different? What Under Heaven makes us think that default criminalization of distasteful voluntary personal action is moral, just or natural? Where in the Constitution is the Federal Government given the power to regulate the crops that an individual grows for their own uses, voluntary exchange and especially within State Boundaries.
Where?
We have filled Mexico with Al Capones and made his ruthless kind her rulers.
Here in America drug abuse or addiction have affected each of us or someone we know and the WAR-ON-DRUGS criminalizing aspects only made the situation harder. It did not serve the Individual, the Public or Justice.
In Mexico the corruption has completely devoured Justice, Law, Order and Sanity.
We must end the criminalization of the natural drug farming industry and find Just, Equitable and Constitutional regulation for it.
If we do not then the state of Mexico will only worsen and I don’t want that to be in my Name; Nor for my defense, in the name of my security.
We must not allow our frustrations and the dire events of the situation to allow bigotry or to foster dividing resentments to detour us from our Liberty and Individual’s Sovereignty.
Let us not fight an individually abusive global WAR-ON-DRUGS;
Instead let us War alongside the individual’s fight of personal drug abuse and addiction.
Let us offer legal Immigration processes for refugees that wish to become a part of the United States of America’s rePublic; let us offer to refugees the assistance, voice, means and ability to regain their own National Security and Independence, so they can return in safety and to prosperous, free and independent lives.
Let us ensure that we are not the Tyrant, Emperor, Dictator or King to the Doom of any Nation or Individual.

WASHINGTON — The United States beginning Wednesday will add a third Predator drone to patrol its border with Mexico, allowing authorities for the first time to monitor the entire stretch of land separating the two neighbors using the unmanned aircraft.
